ENO3 Basin Survey Uncertainty Analysis

Purpose: Determine where to survey in the Bering Sea and Arctic (ENO3) basin by estimating uncertainty in areas which (a) can impact the model and (b) can be observed on a survey (i.e. over land but below 56 feet - high terrain in the model).  Additionally, areas with IFSAR data (page 4 and most of 3 and 5) are omitted as IFSAR data is considered good quality (5m cells with 3m vertical accuracy).

Recommendation: In order of preference - 1. Kongiganak and Quinhagak (pop 456 + 690); 2. Kotlick, Stebbins/Saint Michaels (pop 644 + 1,005); 3. Barrow (pop 4,717); 4. Pilot Point to Port Heiden (pop 188)

Uncertainty: Estimated by mapping the difference between cells based on ETOPO-1 data (1,800m cells with 10m (at best) vertical accuracy) and cells based on
GMTED-2010 data (500m cells with 29-32m vertical accuracy) on the North Slope and GLOBE data (1,000m cells with 30-250m vertical accuracy) elsewhere.
