Service's quality control or quality assurance procedures and do not meet the
criteria and standards of offical National Ocean Service data. They are
released for limited public use as preliminary data to be used only with
appropriate caution. NWS extratropical surge forecasts are purely computer
generated and serve only as guidance. Although we will attempt to keep this
experimental site running, it is not an official distribution channel
for NWS products. Counsult your local NWS forecast office for their offical
forecast and any watches and warnings.
